Unavailable video costs
We obtain unavailable titles from private video and film collector libraries, not open to the public. They are not in business and they don't want to sell. This is their hobby and they want to buy or trade to
increase their collection.
The result is, we typically have to find a title that they will trade for. On many occasions this is repeated several times, as we are doing three, four and five way trades. Often the collector has the film,
which has not been available on video. We then have to pay for a video laboratory to transfer the film to video.
You need to take into account expenses including: advertising to find the collector, payroll, 800 numbers, commissions, transportation, insurance, video laboratory work. You may reduce or eliminate your
out-of-pocket cost by taking advantage of our Trade, Trade-in and Purchase/Rental programs.
